Research Rebels came to life in 2005 after a move from hometown Amsterdam to the cosmopolitan city of London. Having learned the skills of market research, both quantitative and qualitative, at Ruigrok | NetPanel, I was fully equipped to run projects both in The Netherlands and the UK. With clients such as Asics Netherlands, ING bank, Opodo Europe, Orange mobile UK, transavia.com, Qype.co.uk and Vodafone.nl, I had, and occasionally still have, the pleasure to work on a variety of market research projects.
Entrepreneur
It started out as an experiment, but today online shop www.youroni.com has expanded into Europe and is entering the Asian market. We produce, design and sell handbag holders. The perfect gift for any women who cares for her handbag!
Freelance journalist
With a passion for journalism and writing since childhood, I grabbed my chances to do a part time master in Journalism at the Hong Kong University after a move to the vibrant city in 2007. I am now armed with TV / documentary, print and online news experience, click here for an impression. I'm currently working on a book for the Dutch market on marketing to women. The publication date is scheduled for August 2011.
About me
On Mondays I enjoy writing columns about life in Hong Kong. The rest of the Monday and Tuesday is for 'writing' projects and daily ‘to do's’ for ONI. Tuesday eve and Saturdays you'll find me practicing Iyengar yoga. On Wednesdays I'm spending time with one of the most important men in my life. Thursdays and Fridays I'm playing catch up with work. When waiting at a bus stop you'll find me twittering or talking on the phone. You'll frequently see me running around with a camera for fun or for one of my many (future) business projects. I'm probably a lot of things, but most of all, I'm curious, creative and hardworking.
